About

Hi there everyone, I am Samanda Vella a Motion designer, Illustrator, and Marketer. I have completed a double degree at Swinburne in Marketing and Motion design, and I am always looking to expand my knowledge and explore my creativity. I want to create designs that people will enjoy and inspire their own creativity, for a brighter future. Creativity and inspiration is all around us and can be used to improve people's lives, be multi-functional, and help the environment. I have a very laid-back personality and get along with anyone, whether it be by myself or in a team. I recently completed a 12-month professional placement with Swinburne Digital Performance Team.

Personality

I am a person who will give anything a go and will do my best in everything that I do once I start a task I become very focused on completing that task and can juggle other tasks as well because I am very flexible. One of the reasons why I went into design is because I can come up with any design and what I would change ever since I was little and then I started doing that in my designs to be stylish and functional. I am also really into anime and bringing a story to life, which is another reason I went into this area. It is so that others can see my story and what I have to tell.

I have a layback attitude which might be the reason why I am really flexible, but don’t get me wrong I do my best in everything that I do and will give anything a go. My style tends to be more funky, playful, and cool with some realistic details, which is indicated in work that I have done. I also really enjoy adding humour into my work, to make it interesting and to lighten everything up, as being fun is the way to live life I believe.

Other pieces of information about me is that I love the world different cultures, what they mean and how they are preserved. I also love the Japanese culture, mythology and how to keep your environment green and happy through design.
